“The Boulder Valley School District Board of Education, in support of Superintendent Rob Anderson’s recommendation, denied an application from the Ascent Classical Academy charter school. The school would be the first classical model option in our district. It would be the only school that was wholly cognizant of concerns over technology in the classroom and which held to a limited-use model. It would be one of the few that had uniforms, providing another way to even the playing ground in the school social environment.”
